How to Select a Great Apartment Locator
January 4th, 2010 by andrew

Many apartment renters seeking apartment assistance are in need of a good apartment locator to help them with their apartment search.  A good apartment locator will perform a variety of tasks for you which should make your apartment search that much easier.

A) The apartment finder should ask you a variety of questions that will narrow the list of apartments that you may have an interest in.  Do you have a dog or cat? What kind of lease term are you comfortable with? Do you require a washer and dryer in your new apartment home.  You probably have a lot of details that you would like your locator to know. The only way they may be aware of your needs if you they ask you or you remember to tell them.

B) A good locator will then email you or discuss a few options that may be exactly what you are searching for. Many locators have access to software that will allow them to email apartment seekers a detailed list of properties that include photos, floor plans, map locations, and properties addresses and names.

C) Some apartment finders may even escort clients around town who don’t have access to a vehicle or are new to the city. If you have question regarding the deposit amount for certain Downtown Houston apartments, or how close Houston Midtown apartments are to the Metro Light Rail he or she should be able to answer them.

Remember they are paid a commission only after you select an apartment home. So they will be looking for your best interests. Good luck with your next apartment search.
